The Academy Phoenix offers two distinct educational pathways for its high school and post-graduate student-athletes.
We partner with Justice University to offer college-level courses, helping our post-grad student-athletes gain a head start on their academic careers. Student-athletes live off-campus in a Team House only 10 minutes from Justice University, and practice, compete, and attend classes directly at the university's brick-and-mortar campus.
High school student-athletes continue their education while training with TAP — accelerating athletic development while staying on track with their high school education.
For high school student-athletes who want school and serious basketball on the same schedule, TAP's home base, Swysh Den Basketball, partners with Premier Prep — a full-time, tuition-free Arizona online public charter school for grades 7 through 12. Coursework is NCAA-approved and built around a real training day, with daily basketball work on Swysh Den's courts led by Head of Competitive Basketball and TAP founder William "JR" Coleman.
